I'm still here. I've just kinda been busy with school and all of my college life-ness. Now that I'm in the groove and I kinda have a thing going with school and work and everything, I can post more. I hope that now that my crap is together I can even start to record some Vlogs!

I love my friends
Today, I got a text from my friend Marissa Goldberg (who is quite possibly my favorite Jew) telling me to go to her deli in Pompton Lakes. Since I hadn't seen her since winter break started I thought I would go see her. Now, since I was also going to work for her dad at the new deli in Pompton, I had to meet with him and talk to him for a little bit; and boy is he intimidating. He's about 6'3", but he's gotta be pushing 300 or more. This was a teeny-tiny bit intimidating for me! Anyways, I gave her dad my hours and we hung around for a little bit. The trip to the deli was a real learning experience for me though. I had NO CLUE how much it takes to actually get a deli ready for opening. I'm hoping that I don't screw up on the job since it will probably be the most fun job ever due to the fact that Marissa and I will probably get to screw around most of the time when it's not busy. After the adventure at the deli, we decided to get sushi and hang out with our other friend Steph while watching the 3 hours of Family Guy on TBS. Aside from Marissa's bird trying to eat my chin, the night couldn't have been any better. Listen to this though, immediately after leaving Marissa's house I called my friend Cherylyn and got into a high speed chase with her, Steve, and Tyler. Totally exhilarating experience lemme tell you. Short post tonight, but I'm keeping up with my resolution ;)

One of many to come.
First of all, Happy New Year's! To start the new year off, I decided that one of my resolutions would be to start and maintain a blog. The others, well I've got the cliche ones along with some not-so-cliche ones I want to drop 40 pounds by summer, do better in school, and I want to play more hockey. So here it goes, my first blog post starting with a rant about today.
As an 18-year-old, I am considered a legal adult. If this is truly the case, why am I being treated like a freaking child?! Today, in most of Northern New Jersey it decided to snow. What does this mean? It means that Kyle wasn't allowed to go out today and not going out today, means no cigarettes. No cigarettes makes Kyle cranky. Due to the fact that I am living under my grandparent's roof, there is absolutely no way I can smoke unless I go out; horrible, I know. Today's activities were an attempt to keep my hands busy. They included playing video games, doing laundry, facebook, more video games... In other words, a normal day except for the laundry substituting for cigarettes. So yeah, that was my day.

(Pretty much anything else goes)
Oh, and I'm also kind of using this to track my writing skills. I'll ask for grammatical, spelling, and any other critiques of my writing in the beginning of a post. Please take into account that a lot of this might not be serious writing here. Hope you enjoyed my first post, and I will try to write one (sometimes more) every day! Stay tuned kids!
